I read Post and articles of how AI(Artificial Intelligence) have come to take people out of service, doing every form of computer programming and handling all sorts of tasks, that one day Man will seat down doing nothing but just enjoy life as a being while AI will handle all tasks for him, though anything is possible but with downsides due to the nature and standard on how man have attained to in perfection.
Just as spoon did not take over the use of hand while eating, we all started eating with bare hands before we learned how to use cutlery, chopstick or whatever is used in our locality, the spoon did not make us stop picking up pastries and candies or nuts with our bare hands,some fruits are held with bare hands while eating them till date as someone may be dong while reading this post right now, they only enhanced how we render comfort to our well being.
The mobile phone has not taken away the laptop since there are features that mobile is not meant to do.Laptop did not take Desktop away from the Market as there are things Laptop is not meant to handle and if you try to put laptop in such a condition, it can't work for her average life span before some hardware parts will melt or worn in the shortest time possible to break her down. Computer did not come to take job away from typist and writers, it eventually employed them en mass as computer is an electronic typewriter machine with more capability with screen attached to display what was once meant to be on paper.
Blockchain Technology and Crypto-Economics did not come to take over the Financial System, but have come to enhance it, the economy. Solving some major issues that have stagnated it’s advancement, Blockchain and Crypto-Currency Technology have provided a solution been utilized in CBDC ( Central Bank Digital Currency) which is gradually taking it’s rightful place, Electronic Money.
Meta-Verse (Augmented Virtual Reality) did not come to take over TVs and Cinemas or Orchestra Performance, from the stage, neither did movie making take circus and entertainment away from arranging and setting up stages for performance, it only advanced them into what everyone can witness and enjoy in their convenient time and in masses, enhancing their status, making our lives easier.
Even in war Equipment,the bow and arrow usage was not replaced, they only advanced into using a different material and form and then applied her Technology into making other things possible other than the destruction of lives and properties, without her projectile analysis, it wouldn’t have been possible for man to launch satellites to outer space that gives the inter connectivity of computers which is the Internet, and as Catapults have also further improved into slingshoting space vessels to deliver them into deep space as far as reaching Mars and beyond.
AI ( Artificial Intelligence) is not different, she have not come to take job away from anyone, it have only stepped us up into a different level of programming, AI will always be programmed to carryout particular task(s) as man can’t program a machine to replicate himself in all entirety. The Machines will always be programmed in one way or another, algorithms will always be built for them, AI have come to solve a problem not take job from anyone. AI have only come to improve our lives. Only those who choose to use it for something vile will program it to function that way.
When AI does anything strange, Man have done something strange, knowingly or unknowingly. Check out the under covering, a Man have done something in the shadows hiding under the cover of AI. AI tools are great tools as they have come to solve a problem improving our lives to handle challenges. Only those who slag behind will be left behind.
As I am writing, something keeps tickling in my head, t says as it comes to me “ There will come a day an AI will take action for good that is caused by a bug not deliberately inserted into an AI algorithm, this algorithm will appear a Malfunction but it will cause many things to take shape when things go out of hand. Some other AI algorithm will come forth via bugs in the program that are deliberately or not deliberately placed but that is no excuse of what man can do with the Power of AI in the shadows. Others will also place such bugs deliberately to take decisive actions when things go wrong and AI turns rogue, coz one day a very complexly confifured AI will go rogue.”
If AI have no human to interact with, AI will cease to exist and will fade away, nothing man have done can stay without man fueling and maintaining it to function. AI is no different.
Nothing is new, all things follow a cycle and come over and over again. Just like the Cycle of Life, in it there is Nitrogen, Water, Carbon Cycles and so forth, we should also know that there is Creativity Cycle, King Solomon said it and I don’t doubt it, our designer is no waster but uses one waste which is a byproduct of one to feed the other and the excess expelled products of another to feed the other and all lives are interconnected in cycles in this way, Transmitting a whole bunch of interconnected frequencies generated by these cycles which governs the entire system put in place by a designer,who still is working into the future.
Programmers will always be, no matter how far AI advances. Technology only enhances our lives negatively or positively. AI will always be programmed, configured maintained.
